Our Mission
Award - Winning dance school dedicated to providing professional dance instruction locally, where talent shines and dreams come true! Our Mission is to expand & enhance the knowledge of dance, gymnastics, and performing arts to the youth of the U.S. Virgin Islands. To provide a healthy after-school activity, to create learning opportunities abroad by preparing & obtaining university scholarships through professional dance auditions, applying for intensive dance workshops, preparing for competitions, creating dance portfolios, talent coaching for pageantry and much more... We continue to raise awareness in the U.S. Virgin Islands by providing our community with annual showcases, exposes, after-school programs, and unique workshops. Followed by introducing international travel opportunities through our partner dance companies in Europe.

Rachid Hedli founded Compagnie Niya in 2011, the culmination of years of collaboration with various professional companies and a career as a performer, dancer, educational speaker. During these years, he has refined his style and claims the contemporary hip hop universe of his dance, always in confrontation with unexpected musical universes integrating image and speech.

"The city of Roubaix bought the Coliseum building in 1980 and the Ballet du Nord, then a branch of the Lille Opera, moved there in 1983 under the direction of Alfonso Catà, a Cuban dancer and choreographer in the neoclassical style, in the line of Balanchine. It became the National Choreographic Center (CCN) in 1985, a new system of the Ministry of Culture aimed at promoting the development of classical and contemporary dance on French territory. The Ballet du Nord separates from the Opera and thus becomes the bearer of new missions in Nord-Pas-de-Calais."

A perfect program for students that would like to start learning the fundamentals or basics with FAPA USVI DANCE ACADEMY.
Here you can start your dance transformation by attending
1- hour classes once a week every Saturday.
As your journey progresses, Level-Up into our Part Time or Full Time student programs, Power of purple Membership's or Enroll in our dance schedule bonus classes that start after 6 pm Monday - Friday.
